Yango Passenger - Account Deletion Request
This page applies to the Yango Passenger app by Yango.
Use this page to request deletion of your Yango Passenger account and associated personal data.
How to request account deletion
- Send an email to privacy@yango.com.
- Use subject: Delete Account Request - Yango Passenger.
- Include: registered phone number, registered email (if any), and your Passenger ID/User ID (if available).
- We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before processing.
What will be deleted
- Your account profile and account-access data.
- Saved personal details, profile media, and app preferences.
- Linked passenger records not required for legal or security obligations.
What may be retained
- Billing, transaction, fraud-prevention, safety, and dispute records required by law or policy.
- Technical logs required to protect the platform and investigate abuse.
Retained operational/compliance records are kept for up to 30 days, or longer only if legally required.
Processing timeline
- Request acknowledgment: typically within 72 hours.
- Deletion completion target: within 30 days after identity verification.
